So this morning the Dayton Arcade sold for $615,106 to new owners calling themselves Dayton Arcade, LLC. Everyone wondered who the new owners are; but there was a collective burst of applause with the hope that someone will finally do something with the building(s).
Friends of the Arcade were present to witness the event and I wonder whether the Dayton Arcade Ltd. is the organization behind TheNewArcadeDayton.
There's quite a conversation going on at Dayton Most Metro and it looks like people are familiar with the work of the new owners. Check out the articles being posted at Most Metro.

As Bill @ DMM said, we'll know in a month if they are real. It sure seems so, though, based on their work up in Wisconsin. I'm feeling better about the Arcade again.

I think it is safe to assume that the snake oil salesman behind the "New Arcade Dayton" website (which was complete crap) is not to be confused with the guys who actually purchased the arcade at the auction.
